Online Continuing Education Now Available For TN Insurance Agents

Franklin Park, IL -- July 15, 2002 -- Tennessee insurance agents may now complete all of their required continuing education from the convenience of their home or office using the Internet and the newly expanded online learning services offered by the CEProviders.com web site.

Offering ten different state approved courses to choose from, TN agents can quickly select a course of interest, immediately download the study materials, take the test online, and receive instant computer grading. For those not keen on the idea of online learning, the site also allows conventional books and tests to be ordered and delivered to students.

The site offers "risk free CE", where students are permitted to enroll in and complete all of their online course work for free. Fees are charged only when formal certification of successful course completion for CE credit is requested by the student. This has proved to be a very popular feature of the site, since it assures prospective students of their absolute satisfaction, or they owe nothing.

With few exceptions, Tennessee requires that insurance agents complete 12 hours of continuing education per year in order to retain their insurance license. This is similar to the majority of other states which require that some form of CE be periodically completed by agents.

It is exactly these requirements that the web site seeks to address in the most efficient manner possible. Insurance agents typically are less than enthusiastic about taking time away from revenue producing activities to attend classes and seminars. CEProviders.com allows agents to complete their CE at any time, from any location, with instant grading of tests.

The site is a joint project of AHI Insurance Services Inc. which provides the Tennessee state approved CE materials as well as the final certification services and Reinhart Technologies Inc. which developed, owns, and operates the site. The site currently offers CE for a total of 20 states, with continued expansion into other states in progress.
